Patient Journey

Hello! I am pleased to have your trust in scheduling this meeting, and I truly appreciate your willingness and autonomy in seeking support.

Important: Services are not available in Canada.

Here are some important practical details regarding your journey!

1.

For adults (18 years and older):

Each initial 50-minute online consultation (excluding evaluations for medical reports) includes a follow-up session of up to 30 minutes, also online, at no additional cost.

2.

Scheduling:

Appointments can be made via Google Calendar, email (atendimento@andreluizfigueiredo.com), or WhatsApp (+55 11 95454-8026) – this number is shared with my assistant.

3.

Pre-appointment Form:

After scheduling, you will receive a form via email to fill out with your personal details.

 

This document is an editable PDF—no need to print it. Simply complete it and send it to sahasrara.andre@gmail.com.

 

Then, wait for your consultation at the scheduled date and time.

4.

Follow-up Appointments:

 Follow-up sessions will always be scheduled at the end of your current consultation.

5.

Consultation Fees:

A 50-minute online consultation costs USD 200.00.

 

A 30-minute online consultation (brief teleconsultation) costs USD 120.00. This option is available only for ongoing patients, upon prior agreement.

6.

Payment:

Payment must be made in full at the time of scheduling to ensure adherence and maintain a smooth workflow. Instructions for payment and cancellation policies are available on the Google platform.

7.

Invoice Issuance:

Invoices are issued in a single copy after each consultation. Please provide updated details, including full name, CPF, complete address with complement, phone number, and email.

8.

Punctuality:

Whether for in-person or online consultations, I recommend arriving at least 5 minutes early to settle in and avoid delays that may affect your session or those of other patients.

9.

Online Consultations:

You will receive the session link in advance via email and WhatsApp.

 

Please ensure you are in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection and your camera turned on.

 

I recommend using a computer, laptop, or tablet, as mobile phones may be disruptive due to calls and messages. I commit to the same courtesy.

10.

Telemedicine Documents:

All electronically signed documents issued through Telemedicine, in English, with a valid digital certificate, are recognized nationwide under the Federal Medical Council's Resolution No. 2.314/2022 (April 20, 2022).

 

There is no need to print them, as they are legally valid throughout Brazil, regardless of our physical distance.

 

Attention: your presciption might need a validation from your General Practioner or Family Physician. I will always issue a medical report attached to the prescription.

11.

Document Verification:

Please check the receipt and content of all relevant documents at the time of submission (for Telemedicine services) or issuance (for in-person consultations), including your personal information and address, to avoid delays in your treatment.

12.

Contact and Availability:

For inquiries, you can reach me via WhatsApp (+55 11 95454-8026) or email (atendimento@andreluizfigueiredo.com). I recommend email for detailed requests, as I may not always be able to listen to audio messages, and written communication allows for better comprehension.

 

Due to my professional commitments, response times may vary. My availability is from Monday to Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM (BRT).

13.

Emergencies:

I provide individualized guidance on a case-by-case basis. In urgent or emergency situations, please notify me as soon as possible. However, as I may take time to respond, I strongly advise that you seek emergency care at the nearest medical facility, preferably accompanied.

Cancelation Policies

1. Cancellation of Appointments:
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge of 50% of the consultation fee, except in cases of emergency or duly proven medical justification.

  • For appointments scheduled on the same day, cancellation must be made at least 4 hours in advance.

2. Rescheduling Appointments:
  • Rescheduling can be requested up to 24 hours in advance at no additional cost.

  • Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to availability.

  • The rescheduled appointment must be made within 30 days of the original date, otherwise it will be considered a new appointment.

3. No-show:
  • If the patient does not attend the appointment and does not notify in advance, 100% of the consultation fee will be charged.

  • After two consecutive no-shows without prior notice, the patient will be asked to make an advance payment for new appointments.

4. Communication Processes:

 

  • Messages sent outside business hours will be processed on the next business day.
